Inspired by the story "Stone Soup" & by the
success of the Soup Exchange we bring you...
Stock Making Game Night
I think we'll make a few different rounds of this,
for acquiring different bases but the basic
premise is the same. To have fun and come home with some decent stock.
The first one will be poultry, so start saving up any bird bones!
Store them wrapped up in the freezer with plastic wrap or put into a big
baggie.
Bring them, along with any extra vegetables and some of
those same soup containers. We'll roast the veggies & bones,
then simmer in a stock pot and reduce to concentrate the flavour.
This process isn't too labour intensive, its just takes time, so why not
enjoy one another's company and play some games?
Not able to make it this time? That is OK, keep saving up those bones anyway. You can make your own stock OR drop us an email to let us know you're interested.
We do this on a fairly regular basis and it will happen often for us.
Its just a matter of whether or not we have others to join in on the fun.
